A three-day RCI approved Continuous Rehabilitation Education (CRE) training programme on ‘Early Intervention for Children with Developmental Delay’ was organized by department of intellectual disability, FDMSE, RKMVERI from 13th to 15th March, 2024. 

Inaugural function was commenced with a prayer song on 13th March, 2024 at 10.00 am. Mrs. V. Indirani, Asst. Prof. welcomed the gathering. Followed by the orientation about the programme by Dr. S. Logesh Kumar, programme coordinator, presidential address was given by Swami Buddhidananda, Asst. Administrative Head. Dr. S. Sukumari, Asst. Prof. proposed the vote of thanks. 

Forty-One participants (38 females and 4 males) from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Puducherry attended this training Program. Twelve sessions were organized with various resource persons. 

The valedictory function was held on 15th March, 2024 at 4.00 pm. Dr. Saumya Chandra, Asst. Prof. welcomed the gathering and presented the brief report. Two of the participants shared their feedback. The presidential address was delivered by Swami Buddhidananda, Asst. Admin Head. Participants received their certificate of participation from Dr. N. Muthaiah, Dean and Asst. Admin Head. Dr. Nandita Chakrabarty, Asst. Prof. proposed vote of thanks. All the faculties and staff members attended the inaugural and valedictory function. The programme ended with national anthem. Dr. S. LogeshKumar, Assistant Professor, coordinated the event.
