Faculty of Disability Management and Special Education, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Coimbatore Campus celebrated Sri Rama Navami on 17 April 2024. The event started with Arati followed by Rama Nama Kirtan being sung. Swami Buddhidananda Maharaj, Assistant Administrative Head, RKMVERI, Coimbatore Campus delivered a talk on ‘The Greatness of Rama Nama’. Likitha Japam was introduced to all the children with special needs with the support of their parents. Children with special needs were shown keen interest in writing Lord Rama’s Name. The event ended with Prasad distribution. Staff members, faculties, teacher trainees’, children with special needs and their parents actively participated in the event. In total 125 (40 Male and 85 Female) attended the function. Dr. S. LogeshKumar, Assistant Professor, coordinated the event.
