Applications are invited from candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to Diploma in Teaching Indian Sign Language (DTISL) (for deaf individuals) for the academic-session 2025-26 (starting in July – 2025).
Eligibility to Apply
- Certificate of Disability (Deaf)
- Passed class10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent with minimum 45%marks
- Proficient in receptive and productive skills in Indian Sign Language
How to Apply
A. Apply Online
- Registration: Click here to register online and follow instructions sent in the email to complete the application form.
- Pay Application Fee: Submit the INR 300 application fee online.
- Upload Documents: Upload necessary documents (photo, mark sheets, certificates etc.).
- Download Summary & Receipt: Save the application summary and fee receipt after payment.
- Admit Card: Check the portal for Admission Test/Interview dates and download your admit card when available.
B. Apply Offline
- Offline application form can be collected from campus office or Click here to download.
- Duly filled up application form (along with the required documents) should be submitted in person to the campus office along with the application fee Rs. 300/-

Admission Procedure
Selection for admission is based on the merit and counselling.
Once the applicant submits application (along with the required documents and application fee) the department will inform the applicants within 2 weeks if the applicant is selected for admission and also inform them the admission process.
Documents required at the time of admission:
- Self-attested photocopy of class 12th mark-sheet.
- Self-attested photocopy of caste/community certificates for SC, ST, BC, OBC, and MBC candidates.
- Aadhaar card proof.
- School/ College Transfer certificate/migration certificate in original (at the time of admission).
- Candidates with disabilities have to submit a copy of the relevant certificate. (UDID Card)

Hostel Facility
Hostel facility is available for students (or both men and women) who are serious and willing to abide by hostel discipline and routine. Interested applicants have to apply separately for hostel facility while taking admission to the programme.
