FDMSE organized Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address Recitation Competition for the academic year 2023 – 2024 on 22 August 2023. Twenty-three teacher trainees actively participated and recited Swami Vivekananda’s addresses.
Teacher trainees who stood first in college and diploma level competed with inter Vidyalaya college and diploma level competitions organized by Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya on 11 September 2023 in connection with Swami Vivekananda’s Historic Speech at the World Parliament of Religions at Chicago in 1893.
Ms. Shariga V. P., B.Ed. ID (II Year) won the first prize in college level English and Ms. Meera R, B.Ed. VI (II Year) won the first prize in college level Tamil. The winners were awarded with cash prizes of Rs. 2000/, books and mementos. Dr. N. Muthaiah, Dean, faculty members (14) and teacher trainees (42) of first year B.Ed., M.Ed., Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (ID) and research scholars attended the event.
