RKMVERI-FAR Crop production – Paddy harvesting
The crop production course on paddy cultivation was undergone by III B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri. students of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), Faculty Centre for Agricultural Education and Research (FAR), Coimbatore. As per the curriculum, paddy crop was raised under organic cultivation following the crop production methods and harvesting of the paddy crop was carried out. The event was inaugurated by Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Vidyalaya Institutions & Administrative Head, RKMVERI, Coimbatore campus. The students of RKMVERI-FAR were actively involved in the harvesting of paddy crops by adopting traditional practice. This crop production course benefitted to the students to learn the crop production techniques of staple rice crop.
