RKMVERI-FAR National Conference (PAFLFS-2020)
Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), Faculty Centre for Agricultural Education and Research (FAR), Coimbatore organized a Two day National Conference on “Promoting Agriculture for Farmer’s Livelihood and Food Security (PAFLFS -2020)” with the financial support from NABARD on 27th and 28th February 2020. Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Vidyalaya Institutions & Administrative Head, RKMVERI, Coimbatore campus presided over the function and delivered Presidential Address and released the compendium of abstracts to the gathering. The technical sessions of conference included the recent developments in Agricultural Technology Transfer, Soil Health Management, Water Conservation and Drought Mitigation, Plant Health Management, Crop Improvement and also highlighted the importance of organic agriculture. A total of 83 numbers of research abstract and 41 numbers of full length research paper were presented by the delegates from various agricultural institutions.
