One Day Workshop on Revised Assessment and Accreditation Framework of NAAC. A one day workshop on Revised Assessment and Accreditation Framework of NAAC was jointly organized by Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), Coimbatore Campus & SRKV, College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore on 27.10.2018 at GKD Auditorium. Swami Atmapriyananda, Vice-Chancellor, RKMVERI, Belur Math, welcomed the gathering. Dr. K. Rama, Advisor, NAAC, Bengaluru handled the first technical session. She stressed the importance of documenting each and every activity directly or indirectly connected with curricular transaction. Since every activity is source of data and advised the faculty not to ignore any activity however small. Second session was handled by Dr. C. Vishnukhant, Advisor, NAAC, Bengaluru. He highlighted about the recent changes made in assessment procedures and format and advised the delegates to unlearn the learnt ideas of previous version and use only the current terminologies to avoid confusion. In the last technical session Dr. N. Muthaiah, Dean, RKMVERI-FDMSE, explained the methods of pooling information and formula for arriving at the exact information as per requirement. Delegates got their doubts clarified from the advisors. Overall this orientation program was an eye opener for the institutions that is moving for accreditation and the importance of sustaining quality and accountability. Total 213 delegates participated in the workshop. Dr. R. Thangavel, Coordinator IQAC, SRKV, CAS proposed the vote of thanks followed by National Anthem.
