Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated across India on November 26 each year to honor the adoption of the Indian Constitution. This day serves to recognize the efforts of the Constitution’s framers and to promote awareness of its core values. On November 26, 2024, the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), Faculty of Disability Management and Special Education (FDMSE), Coimbatore Campus, observed this significant occasion.

The event featured a reading of the Constitution’s Preamble, led by Ms. Shirin T. T., a second-year student of the Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program in Special Education (Intellectual Disabilities). Participants also took a pledge to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution.

A total of 93 individuals attended, comprising 18 faculty and staff members (2 males and 16 females) and 75 teacher trainees (15 males and 60 females). The program was successfully coordinated by Dr. S. Logeshkumar, Assistant Professor.
