3RD INTER VIDYALAYA INSTITUTIONAL TOURNAMENTS – 2016
Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, organises the games for the institutions under it. The 3rd Inter Vidyalaya Institutional Tournaments (IVIT) – 2016 was also organised in 3 categories. In college level category our Faculty of GAPEY participated in the tournaments. Eight disciplines of games like Kabaddi, Handball, Ball Badminton, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Hockey and Volleyball. The tournaments were started on August 1, 2016.
Kabaddi Tournament: (01.08.2016)
In this tournament 5 institutions participated, namely Maruthi College of Physical Education, College of Education, College of Arts and Science, Faculty of Agriculture and Research and our Faculty of GAPEY. In this our Faculty team secured Runner Up position.

Handball Tournament: (02.08.2016 to 04.08.2016)
In this tournament 5 institutions participated, namely College of Arts and Science, Polytechnic College, Swami Shivananda Hr. Sec. School, Maruthi College of Physical Education and our Faculty of GAPEY. In this tournament our Faculty team secured Runner Up position.

Ball Badminton Tournament: (04.08.2016 to 05.08.2016)
In this tournament 5 institutions participated, namely Maruthi College of Physical Education, College of Education, College of Arts and Science, Faculty of Agriculture and Research and our Faculty of GAPEY. In this our Faculty team were the winners.
