The Students Literary Association of RKMVERI-GAPEY celebrated National Sports Day on August 29, 2022, by organising a hockey league match between the institutions of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore campus, to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand. GAPEY-A finished second in the event, and GAPEY-Staff finished third. Along with that, a quiz programme regarding National Sports Day was organised by the Student Literary Association of GAPEY. The winners of the competition were awarded mementos.
