Kalai Magal Vizha : 2017 (Photos and Video)
Students of FDMSE as participant contributed the dance drama on ‘Sumbha Vadham’, this year, 2017.
Kalai Magal Vizha is an annual cultural celebration organized during “Navaratri” days at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore. The Tamil word “Kalai Magal” means Goddess Saraswati, and Vizha means celebration. This three day celebration was dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom.
On the first day there was a speech by students of Vidyalaya. Roopavathy, B.Ed.-MR (II Year) presented a speech on “Thayaai Vantha Aadhi Shakthi” on 20 September 2017. The second day a music concert follows. Third day dances & dramas are played by various institutions of Vidyalaya, selecting different cultural themes.
