The International Week of the Deaf was celebrated on September 27, 2025, at the Yoga Hall, Admin Block, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. The program was organized and conducted by the Diploma in Teaching Indian Sign Language (DTISL) students of the Sign Language Unit, Division of Hearing Impairment.
As part of the event, the students displayed various Teaching–Learning Materials (TLMs) related to Sign Language and Deaf Culture. They also organized engaging games and activities that reflected aspects of Deaf culture, creating an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere.
The program witnessed the active participation of students and staff members, making the celebration both informative and memorable.
