Kalai Magal Vizla is an annual cultural celebration organized during “Navaratri” days at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore. The Tamil word “Kalai Magal” means Goddess Saraswati, and vizla means celebration. This three day celebration is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom. First day there is a speech by an eminent personality. The second day a music concert follows. Third day dances & dramas are played by various institutions of Vidyalaya, selecting different cultural themes. Vivekananda University, Coimbatore Campus as participant contributed the dance “Ashtalakshmi” this year, 2015.
