Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Faculty of General & Adapted Physical Education and Yoga organized Unified Play Day and Sports competition on 28th February 2020.
The programme started with the march-past, Followed by prayer song sung by students of Vidyalaya high school who are visually impaired and the cultural programme performed exclusively by the intellectually challenged children of Faculty of Disability Management and Special Education therapy unit and TAT Kalanilayam School. The following Physical Activities were demonstrated by the intellectually challenged children who partnered with the normal children from Coimbatore district schools.

- Flag Drills
Swami Garishthananda Maharaj presided over the function and inaugurated the Play Therapy stall. Sri CA M. Bhaskar, FCA, Chartered Accountant, President, Auditors Association of Southern India, Coimbatore Inaugurated the Other Therapy stall. SriPadmini Chennapragada, M.S. (Disability Sports, USA), Program Development Director Indian Tennis Tour, inaugurated the Physiotherapy Stall & Sri Gunasekaran J, Sittruli Foundation, Founder, Manager Proprietor inaugurated the Sport competition for Intellectual Disability Children, (Football-5-a side for Boys & Bocce for Girls)
A total number of 439 students, 127 parents and 53 Special education teachers participated from 44 Integrated Schools in and around Coimbatore in the Unified Play Day.
