Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational & Research Institute, Faculty of General & Adapted Physical Education and Yoga, Coimbatore organized “State Level Yogasana Competition for Persons with Disabilities” on 09th February, 2024 at GAPEY Multipurpose Hall.
Participants with Intellectual Disability, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment and Orthopaedic Impairment attended the events (Yogasana & Suryanamaskar categories). In each category there were three age divisions for Boy and Girls.

A total of 284 participants (185 Boys & 99 Girls) in all categories participated.
Swami Garishthanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Institutions and Administrative Head RKMVERI, presided over in the Valedictory Function, Swami Virahanandaji Maharaj, distributed the Certificates and Medals to the winners. Dr. R. Giridharan, Head of the Department was present. Dr. Dibakar Debnath, Assistant Professor coordinated the events.
