A 3 Day State Level Conference on “Addressing Barriers in the Environment and Universal Design” was organized on 14th to 16th November, 2019 at RKMVERI-FDMSE in collaboration with NIEPMD, Chennai.
Topics such as – Universal Design, Universal Design for Learning, Universal Design of Assessment, Positive Learning Environment, Technology and Persons with Disabilities, Barriers to Effective Learning and Communication, Sports and Universal Design, Evidence based practices in physiotherapy were handled by experts in the field of special education.
Feedbacks were collected from the participants and certificates were distributed in the function. In total 50 special educators attended the programme.
