On September 17, 2022, the Students Literary Association of RKMVERI-GAPEY hosted a session on “Say No to Drugs—Drug Abuse on Students,” a campaign run by the Tamil Nadu Police “Enforcement Bureau.” The resource person was Dr. T. Thangamani, Assistant Professor, SRKV, Maruthi College of Physical Education, Coimbatore.
In the orientation programme, the videos from the Tamil Nadu police were played and explained in detail about the dangers of using drugs and steps to be taken to come out of drug addiction. At the end of the session, an online pledge against drug abuse was conducted, in which 221 students actively participated.
