Kalai Magal Vizla is an annual cultural celebration organised during “Devi Navaratri” days at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyala, Coimbatore. The Tamil word “Kalai Magal” means Goddess Saraswati, and vizla means celebration. This three day celebration is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom. First day there is a speech by an eminent personality. The second day a music concert follows. Third day dramas are played by various institutions of Vidyalya, selecting different cultural themes. Vivekananda University, Coimbatore Campus as participant contributed the drama-dance “Dasa Maha Vidya” this year, 2014.
