On August 15, 2022, RKMVERI-GAPEY observed India’s 76th Independence Day. The celebration began with the marchpast. The students of GAPEY and the Main Marching Team took part in the event by waving the Indian National Flag. After the marchpast, our Indian national flag was hoisted by Swami Buddhidananda, Deputy Controller of Examinations, RKMVERI, Coimbatore; he was accompanied by Swami Virahananda, RKMVERI-GAPEY; Dr. MS. Nagarajan, Senior Sports Manager at Special Olympics Asia Pacific; and Dr. R. Giridharan, Associate Professor and Head, Faculty of GAPEY. Two hundred and fifty-three students from GAPEY participated in this program.
The RKMVERI GAPEY marching team secured first place in the marching event conducted by Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore. The rolling trophy was received from the hand of Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore.
