FDMSE, RKMVERI (Deemed University), Coimbatore Campus celebrated the Annual Day of the academic year 2022 – 2023 on 6 June 2023 at GKD Auditorium. Swami Garishthananda Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya and Administrative Head, RKMVERI, Coimbatore Campus presided over the function. Swami Nirmaleshananda Maharaj, Assistant Administrative Head, RKMVERI, Coimbatore Campus graced the occasion. The event started with a prayer song. Dr. Sudha A, Assistant Professor, welcomed the gathering. The annual report of FDMSE was presented by Dr. N. Muthaiah, Dean, School of Rehabilitation and Sports Science. Thiru. K. Jagadeesan, District Differently Abled Welfare Officer (DDAWO), Coimbatore, delivered the chief guest address. The following three teacher trainees received the best outgoing student award from Swami Garisthananda Maharaj.

Annual honorarium on year-long exhibition cum sale of vocational products and other handicraft items was divided and distributed among the trainees with intellectual disability based on their ability and contribution towards development of independent life. Certificates, medals and trophies were given to the winners of teacher trainees of various events conducted in connection with sports day. Achievements (Best Volunteer & Best Paper Presentation) of teacher trainees were recognized and honored during the function. Cultural events depicting the theme of tradition and culture were performed by differently abled children of various therapy units of FDMSE. Dr. S. Parween, Assistant Professor, delivered the vote of thanks. The function concluded with the national anthem. Monks, heads of various institutions (6) of Vidyalaya, children with special needs (72) and their parents (81), staff members (34) and teacher trainees (68) of FDMSE attended the function. In total, 261 members participated in the annual day function.
