Adapted Games for Persons with Disabilities
The games and activities are organized by disability category of GAPEY (Faculty of Gapey). Each category focuses on a particular type of game, including teacher-directed games, team-building games and lead-up sport participating games. The games are simple with few rules, making them easy for the students to comprehend. Furthermore, minimum equipment is needed for the setup of each game or activity, which reduces instructor preparation time.
Adapted games presented here will help your students develop health, social behaviours, fitness and motor skills, and sport and lifetime activity skills. These are some of the most important aspects of inclusion in our society. Learning to communicate in a safe and fun environment is key to their success.
