Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), Coimbatore Campus. (Deemed-to-be-University as declared by Govt of India under Section-3 of UGC Act 1956) Coimbatore Campus.

Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Coimbatore is an Off-Campus of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute headquarters at Belur Math, District Howrah, West Bengal. It is located in a salubrious and serene environment of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya of Coimbatore, befitting for imparting and receiving the education. It is a cluster of four Faculties, which are intended to actualize Swami Vivekananda’s fundamental educational ideas of imparting life building, man-making and character-building education.

The four  Faculties are :

1. Faculty of Disability Management  and  Special Education (FDMSE)
The Faculty aims at preparing world class teachers in Special Education and train persons with disabilities to equip them with daily living, academic and vocational skills. To realize the aims the Faculty is provided with appropriate Facilities. (Courses offered)

 

2. Faculty of General & Adapted Physical Education and Yoga (GAPEY)
GAPEY mainly focuses on the physical educational needs of persons with disabilities. The Faculty aims at preparing world class Adapted Physical Educators and Yoga trainers. To realize the aims the Faculty is provided with appropriate Facilities. (Courses offered)

 

3. Faculty of Agriculture, Rural and Tribal Development (ARTD)
This Faculty Center is meant to provide quality agricultural education for a meaningful and self-supporting life to youths and train them to cater to the needs of economically poor and socially underprivileged sections of the society. A unique feature of the courses under this Faculty, which is a common feature of all the courses under the University, is to provide value – based and higher goal-oriented education.(Courses offered)

 

4. Faculty Center for Computer Science Applications and Research(FYCSAR)
FYCSAR aims at preparing world class software professionals. To realize the aims the Faculty is provided with appropriate infrastructural Facilities.  Course material is provided through Learning Management System (LMS) called Carolina, an open source software. (Courses offered)
