  • The 13th convocation of all the four off campus faculties of RKMVERI, Coimbatore Campus was held at the Venkatakrishnan Indoor Stadium on 12 September 2018.

 

  • Revered Swami Atmapriyanandaji Maharaj, Vice-Chancellor, RKMVERI, welcomed the gathering and Swami Garishthananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya & Administrative Head of Four faculties delivered the introductory Address. Most Revered Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, delivered the Presidential Address.

 

  • Swami Atmeshwarananda, Finance Officer, RKMVERI, Ramakrishna Mission HQ, Belur Math delivered Dr. Avinashilingam Fifth Memorial Lecture titled “Swami Vivekananda’s Educational Vision”. The Guest in Chief of the day, Dr. Chandra Bhusan Sharma, Chairman, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), New Delhi, delivered the Convocation address. Dr. N. Muthaiah, Dean, FDMSE delivered the vote of thanks.

 

  • In total, 187 graduates received their degrees and diplomas from four faculties, FDMSE-27 (Ph.D.-2; B.Ed.-16 & D.Ed.-3; DISLI-6), GAPEY-88 (Ph.D.-8; M.Phil.-5; M.PEd.-12; B.PEd.–40 & B.Sc. -23), FAR-55 (B.Sc.-55) and FYCSAR-17 (M.Sc.-17)
